Both Andrew Brydon and Rob Duff are CAA-certified drone pilots who seriously know what they are doing.

Andrew has been involved in the agricultural industry for over 30 years in Marlborough and Canterbury. As well as running a successful financial services business, he has been a director in a family-run arable, Ag contracting and traditional sheep/beef farm in Marlborough/Nelson for over 30 years.

The advantages of agricultural drones to their own family operations became obvious. These observations and desire to assist family saw him diversify investments to create this venture with Rob.

Andrew and Rob are exceptional agricultural drone pilots with unparalleled skill and expertise in handling various tasks, regardless of scale or complexity. Their precision flying abilities combined with extensive knowledge of drone technology allow them to navigate fields with ease, ensuring accurate and efficient application of water, sprays, and fertilizers. Whether tasked with overseeing vast hectares of farmland or smaller, more intricate fields, Andrew and Rob approach each job with the same level of dedication and proficiency, making them a reliable choice for any agricultural drone operation.

Born and raised on a farm in southland then moving to Marlborough, Rob has been involved in farming in some form pretty much all his life.

Part of his journey involved working in aviation and topdressing companies in both the north and south islands.

Throughout his career, Rob obtained his helicopter pilot’s licence and then began working on aerial photography with drones.

This combined interest in drones and farming led him to Precision Ag Drones and Andrew Brydon (owner). The two work together closely and the company now runs 4x 100kg Agricultural drones along with high resolution mapping equipment.
